They seem to have come a long way with paint type chrome finishes, so I plan to try that instead. From what I have seen you can't tell the paint from real chrome untill you try to scratch it, plus with the paint I can repair an individual tube or section if needed.

I plan to do the frame, wheels, swing arm and fork tubes in the chrome finish. May even use a little prismatic pearl to give it a little more sparkle.

Now you can have it nickle plated without weakening the frame. PLUMMEN Offline User Posts: 8139 Thank you received: 103	ive got a chrome plated frame on my origional turbo that was done in the early 80s that hasnt had any issues i also know of another 76 kz that the frame was plated just before mine and has been ridden endlessly with a couple differant motors that is ridden practically year around when weather permits without any problems Still recovering,some days are better than others.
