Ended up smashing out the stem from the original triple clamps and had it pressed into the 600rr triple. A sleeved also need to be machined too. Once it comes back from the machinist, I'll post some detailed photos of it.

eclipse30gt Topic Author Offline User Posts: 10 Thank you received: 0	Got the front end back today and bolted it up for a test fit. Amazingly, everything is in perfect position. The kz stem was knocked out and pressed into the 600rr trees. The only modification was machining a sleeve to make up the difference in diameter. Just need a new kz stem bolt and it's all done.

Thanks for the pictures, looks like it worked out well.

I was thinking about cutting off the Honda stem flush and machining it out, as it already has the correct OD.

Think this would work?

Are you using the rear wheel/axle from the same bike?

If so, what is the ID of the hollow rear axle(if you don't mind)?

I don't have my parts bike on hand to measure mine, but depending on what it is, I may be able to start my project sooner rather than later.
