Well, someone sure stretched that swingarm, stock KZ650 arm isn't any longer than the 750 arm. Would have been easier to stretch the 750 arm, then you wouldn't have to enlarge the slots for the axle to fit the 20mm 1000 axle (76-80 750 twin uses a 20mm axle also).

Sorry to revive my old thread, but is there any companies out there that I can get performance parts from for this bike? Maybe a big bore, cam, valves, etc.? I'm wanting this bike to be able to have some decent power for interstate rides and such. Can anyone help or suggest what I can do? I'm swapping sprockets back to stock so I can get the revs down a little bit, so thats out. I though about a small turbo setup but what about the carbs?
