Just updating the counter & rear sprocket data...

As written previously, due to difficulties obtaining a 1/2, 18 tooth, 530 CC sprocket I re-grouped and went with the 630 configuration....

AmericanClassix.com
CC Sprocket:
OS15 - front sprocket 15-630 0.5 offset
Qty: 1 at $84.50

Z1 Enterprises.com (Thanks Jeff!)
Rear Sprocket & CC Washers/Spacers:
630 (JTR501 series) 37T Rear Sprocket
Quantity: 1 Product ID: TU24-9607 Price: $33.26

Front Sprocket Spacer Washer - 1.25mm
Quantity: 3 Product ID: SS-3 Price: $0.75

Here's how I measured, seems to have come out correctly.

KZ900 Stock Rim: 3.5" from center rim to inside sprocket.
ZX6RR Stock Rim: 4.25" from center rim to inside sprocket.

Subtract the differences = .75" = 19.05mm
subtract the offset 13.5mm = 5.55mm
subtract the 3 spacers at 1.25mm each = 1.8mm = .0709" =
< then 1/16"...

In measuring the sprockets to frame and tire I measure 1/2" spacing. I ordered a chain from Jeff at Z1 but won;t be here till next week. a 630 Chain - RK 102 link XW-ring

This will be the true and final confirmation to frame and tire and I'll post the results later.

Thanks Steell for turning me onto JT Sprockets... Mix and match the templates of different years, all is good!

Hope this may help others,

what year are they?
Unknown, got out of a bike junk yard for $40... Buffed them out, look great.

It looks like they are a direct bolt on is that right?
No, had to do some minor fabrication. Once I figured out where I wanted them on the frame, I welded some matching bolts onto my frame then attached (screwed) on the coupling nuts you see in the image.

The beauty of this is I can now adjust any offsets due to the frame not being linear. B) Then mount the rearsets to the nuts, all better...

In the image they are painted but I have found these at Ace hardware in Chrome....

Glad you like!

"do u do your own welding and machining?"
Yes on all the welding and frame fabrication such as the rear shock mounts etc... Regarding the machining, all depends.

For the recent L.E.D. tail light mounts I did myself and I'm planning on a fabricating the rear hugger in buffed aluminum... It's a secret for the time being but it's going to be whacked if I can pull it off... For the headlight all depends on what light I end up with, still debating dual 5.25" or one huge 7"...

When it comes to cylinder boring, machining on the head such as the valve guides/seals, port & polish etc... then I'll leave that to the pros...B) for some things are out of my league and I want it done right, no boo-boos!

As can be reviewed in the image, I still have to obtain a coupling nut between the shift lever and shift lever clamp on the output shaft.
