Just a little update....

Based on Larry's advice (thanks Larry) the ideal shim clearance desired would be .04 to .06...

Received my new 2.4mm shims from Z1....
I installed the new 240's on the Intake side and swapped 235's into the exhaust side. My new measurements are as followed.

Valve Lifter Clearance:
Intake # 1 # 2 # 3 # 4
.05mm .04mm .05mm .05mm

Exhaust # 1 # 2 # 3 # 4
.05mm .05mm .05mm .05mm

For good measures, I went through the cam degreeing triple checking everything was in order... good thing I did.

My intake came out at 105.75 degrees, no adjustments where required for the lobe center of my .365 cams are 105.

But my exhaust side was way low ~ 80 degrees.... Hmmm, this was somewhat odd to me, should have been closer to the 105 setting I had left it at.... It was as though I had originally been turning it the wrong way (slotted sprockets)

Anyhow, readjusted and came out at 105.5 degrees....

I'll probably go through it one more time tonight for assurance, not to mention I'm being a pussy about it, lol!

All is good where I can finally get this going....

Found locally Kreme's Blue coat for the inside of the Kerker header.... Coat the internal header for anti bluing... I'll keep all posted if the shit truly works... Kinda spendy stuff ~$30!

I must say that I am very disappointed in the final outcome.
It seems that the chrome pipe is outshining all your hard work of polishing. I think u should send it to me and I will send u my old black Kerker. This will go better with your black frame, and allow all of those beautifully polished aluminum pieces to shine to there fullest. The way u meant them too.
I would really hate to part with my 30 year old pipe, since we have been through so much together.
But I would do this for u bro.
