Ok guy's, sice gas is over $4.00 a gallon by me, i have decded to get the 400 up and running. Here's the history on her, she has 10,600 orig miles on the clock. I bought the bike in 2004 with just 1600 miles on her. hode it till i got my 77 650b, then it got parked cause i liked going faster. I started tearing her apart today, i took the tank, carbs, pipes, fenders, front and rear fender, coils, bars, gauges off. Tommorow im gonna attempt to pull the motor:huh:  :S , i hope. My plan on her is to repaint the frame rattle can gloosy black, maby replace the seaping head gasket, the stock paint is in good shape with the exception of the clear coat peeling, i wanna keep the paint and just have it re cleared if at all possible, clean and polish the engine ( 000 steel whool and wd-40 do wonders), polish the front end and both wheels. What she need's, carb's cleaned out good, evhaust cleaned (possibly repaint hi temp black?), new dyna 3.0 ohm coil and new wires, new chain and sprokets, new points and condensors ( or replace with 440 electronic ignition), and re cover seat and new foam to. Here is a pic of her from a year or two ago. Il post more pics tommorow ASAP.

Cool! What kind of mpg do you get with the 400? I have a 440 and it's not a great as I'd like (40 something mpg).

Ok, i did some more work to her the other night. Im deffinatly going to do a rigid bobber. I broke out the cutting wheel and started cutting off all the useless junk, seat latch rear fender support to clear the rear tire. I bought some square tubing to make the struts out of. Im also cutting off the passenger fotpeg supports cause she's gonna be a solo ride. I post more pics when i get a new battery for my camera.
