Ok, it works.. Been awhile since i been on, made some more progress. Was trying to get it done to the point where i can take a test ride by oct 14 (my b-day), but im a couple days/weeks behind.
Got everything together, got the painting done (finally)and actually did ok with that. Practice does make perfect, but i gotta throw a warning out to all of you..I got 90% of the painting done with pj1 glo green kawasaki paint, only had the tank left to do. I bought the last can off the shelf at a local shop, took one swipe with the paint and the pressure from the can gave out. Tried everything to repressure it but it didnt work. So it splattered all over the tank and really pissed me off. Theeeeenn, pj1 decided to discontinue the paint line, cant find it anywhere.. Needless to say, i had to change paint and start all over again.. GRRRRRR.. So a warning to you all, pj1 no longer makes paint, i hope you got all the painting done!
On the better side, she starts, she runs, sounds great! Ive only had it running a few minutes at a time, dont have the best gas source right now, have to work out an idle issue but i just put new cables on, sure thats it.
Something i did notice, its not charging. Dont know what rpm it was at, but at full choke im only getting 12.15. Another post, right now i just wanna catch up on pics for you guys.
Heres the exhaust, just wanna let you guys know that a cetain cola product REALLY DOES work great on chrome!

Some of the painting.. Oh yeah and for ronkz650, heres your gas cap review.. Its shiny, its new and it bolts right on..but its too cheap for you, so i have an extra one. if you like i can put it on ebay for double maybe it will be a valid part then? heh heh
