Very nice! I've been eyeballing one of those mini belt sanders for a while, might have to go pick one up.

i have the electric one from h-f,it is pretty good.hard to find the replacement belts tho,and it has the plastic/rubber wear guide deals that the belt runs on and they wear quickly,i am planning to find something harder to replace mine with.

i haven't looked at the air powered one that h-f sells but you might eyeball them both and make your best choice.

they are not a dyna-file,but they don't cost three bills either.

if you don't push them hard they are good, but i get impatient and have found where to back off and let the tool work.

i had to shorten the back of the underbrace because it was interfering with the caliper when it is slid all the way to the front.

Man...I wish I could weld like that. That's a skill that would come in real handy.

thanks racer54,
buying the machine is the hardest part.
you can learn to weld from the internet and youtube.
i would encourage anyone who wanted to weld to either take a welding course,or just buy the machine and start on some scrap.

I got my swingarm back from Leon yesterday. I must say that pictures do not do his work justice. The work he performed is stunning!!

I was able to make it out to the garage and mock up the bike in the driveway to get a feel for the overall length and ride height I want.

I forgot to take a measurement but I estimate the wheelbase to be around 68-70" with the axle all the way back.

Anyways, here are some rough mock-up pics...

As you can see I still have a bit of work left to do but I'm slowly chipping away at it.
