Thort I had best introduce myself.
Just joined the site as I have gone back to near the start of my motorcycleing days.....
When a spotty little oik, I had me a Kiwi built Z1000R (1000j modded by one of the local shops with a pipe, shocks, paint and some carb work) which was super cool back then.
I had been looking for a classic for the last few years and after talking to GC (graeme Crosby) he put me onto a fella who was willing to part with his 1000R. Showed it to the wife (was riding mine when we met 30yrs ago) and the memories come flooding back. Needless to say the bike is now in my garage.

So gidday to fellow Zedders.

Kia Ora!

Welcome to KZRider. Spent a pile of time down in NZ myself over the last few years. Never had a bike down there, but it would be absolute paradise riding in most of the places I've been to. Glad to hear you have a 'Zed' again.

Cheers,
Jon

Thanks awfully for the welcomes.
I hail from the far north (some call it the winterless north, I think because it rains so much in summer its hard to tell the difference. And who is goin to go to the summerless north?).
Only had the Zed a few months now.
Just tidied up a few loose ends and a bit of fine tuning so far.
pics are from a weekend shakedown cruise on the way to the Barry Sheen challange.
Did more k's that weekend than the last few owners had over the last few years....
