Hey everyone. My name is Eric and I'm a motorcycle-aholic. My first bike is a 1982 CB985F Supersport: that I rebuilt and modded 2 years ago. Just today I picked up an '84 GPZ 1100. Can't wait to tear it all down and start from scratch. Know issues, magneto is toast, turning signals busted, leaky head gasket, burning oil, and the muffler isn't packed and is friggin' loud.

Would love to get any info about the pros and cons, do's and don'ts as far as mods and upgrades. The main things I'd like to do is a more modern front and ass end, possible 1170cc kit, Dyna coils, some flat slides and a nice header/can. Oh and a paint job.

I look forward to chatting with forum members and see what everyone is obsessing over, I mean creating. :woohoo:

Thanks for the pics. I'm just that possessed... obsessed that I already have those photos on my desktop. .hhahaha. Oh and don't knock my Honda. It's just another bike company, no need to get all schemey. It's two wheels, an engine and it's fun to ride. It's that simple.

Yay motorcycles!!!!
